Helping Australians reimagine their legacy

CPD recognition available

Baby boomers are estimated to pass on $224 billion¹ each year in inheritances by 2050, amounting to a massive $4.4 trillion in assets predicted to be accumulated.²

With over 5 million Australians also reaching retirement in the 2020s³ and evaluating their ability to leave a legacy, recent research by Generation Life unveils that Australians are overwhelmed by the options out there and less than a quarter have a plan in place to transfer and protect their legacy.

Did you know⁴...

  • 86% of estate claims are brought by the immediate family
  • 12+ months for a case to be heard in court
  • 88.2% of seniors plan on leaving an inheritance ($930k on average)
  • 36% of estates go to grandchildren
